GRL is just around the corner, next week in fact! This week has been slow, admittedly, but TAR is taking next week off while I and my reviewers attend and have a blast, just like last year (we hope!). More below, but I look forward to seeing so many of you there!
This Week’s Wrapup
Well, I was so busy this week — what with getting sick and trying to get everything in order before I leave next week — that I hardly got anything done for the blog! I did get a few things done, however, and first and foremost: Yesterday, on my review of Jack Greene’s latest story Demon Love, Jack offered to give a copy of the story away to a commenter. Coming Up This Week – October 14-20
All regular programming for next week is suspended while I and Sadonna and Nikyta are all at GRL in Albuquerque. I’m starting early and leaving Tuesday morning and driving with my besties Tina and Laura, so I’m getting a road trip out of it as well I won’t be back until the end of the next weekend, ready to hit the ground running. I already have lots of guest posts and reviews planned for the few weeks after that, so never fear!
I’ll try to make some updates while I’m there, but there’s a very big chance that you might not hear from me until after I get back. I remember from last year that there was very little downtime. So if you don’t hear from me next week, then look forward to pics of all your favorite authors getting sloshed! Well…. we’ll just see how this year goes, shall we? If post naughty pictures of others then who knows where the ones of me will show up

Just a quick announcement: Since we’re taking this next week off and this week was so slow, I decided not to review a Mary Calmes book for this week’s Author Backlist Project. And since we’ll be gone next week, they’ll be put off until Saturday October, 27th!

Apparently next year is on the east coast and has to do with the navy (that was the clue) so we were thinking Norfolk/Viriginia Beach. That would be nice

I need encouragement so thank you! I’m terrible at pictures. I took one last year
I’m going to try to make myself take them now that I have somewhere to post them all, but in case something happens (like my phone breaks, I “conveniently forget” or stay drunk all week) I’ll make sure we pull pictures from everywhere and I’ll display them all. That’s a good idea actually. I might put out a call for other people’s pics they wanna share anyway.
