HAPPY HALLOWEEN!
This year’s celebration is going to be hampered for millions of Americans and I can’t believe some of the things I’m seeing on my TV. So I hope that all of you who are impacted in some way by Hurricane Sandy and the monster disruption and destruction it has caused are safe and happy. Stockpile some of your own candy and have a party yourself!
Now, what about all of you and your Halloween plans? Passing out candy to the kiddies in the neighborhood? Or are you getting dressed up and going to a party? I’ll probably stick around and hand out candy, I love doing that. But I’d love to hear your plans! And if any of you are brave enough, send me your pics of you all dressed up and I’ll post them! If not, comment and let us know what you’re dressing up as

No big plans here. My daughter was supposed to do some kind of food drive but thanks to the rain and a rather obstructionist school administration they called it off. So I carved my pumpkins last night. instagr.am/p/RbQNgKr4gQ/ My daughter will do hers after school, and we will hand out candy but we likely won’t get tons of kids thanks to the weather.

Oh My God Tam, those are the cutest pumpkins ever! I sent it to my mom because she loves cats so much and I swear she squeeed LOL. Are you guys getting lots of rain from Sandy?? At least you don’t have to get out and do more activities. You deserve a rest!

No, we got hardly any rain until today, and it was raining earlier, but now it’s not. Less than 1/2 inch predicted I think but temps in the 40′s make it kind of icky.

I do feel awful for all those hurt through by Sandy and feel for those kids who are not going to get the Halloween they were expecting but hopefully they celebrate in some way. We just got cold wind from Sandy so we are fine.
I am just handing out candy this year and mainly using Halloween as an excuse to forget my diet and calorie counting and eat lots of chocolate.

Yeah, we’re lucky that we aren’t having to deal with that mess. I feel horrible for the people in the Northeast. I’ve been busy the last few days to contact all my friends who lives in the area, thankfully it has been all good news so far. Even the ones in Jersey and NYC, so that’s really good.
